Romance films and series focus on passion, emotion, and the many challenges facing two (or more) individuals as they fall in love. Fans of the romantic genre are missing out on some of the best storylines if they avoid romance anime. Most anime films and series offer romance in some way, whether it be a shonen anime, where a few characters spend a great deal of time with romantic tension between them, or a supernatural dark fantasy, where one character saves the other, and they begin a relationship.
