Author Details

Josie Greenwood is a writer and editor from England, but based in Chicago, IL. After graduating from the University of Exeter with a degree in English literature, she began working in journalism. The film studies courses she took as part of her degree inspired her to pursue work with MovieWeb.

Industry Focus

Josie came to MovieWeb in 2022 as a features and lists writer. Later, she joined the reviews team as a critic and became an evergreen editor.

Favorite Media

Josie loves independent cinema, especially when it comes to LGBTQ+ stories and period pieces. So, it's unsurprising that two of her favorite movies are Carol and Portrait of a Lady on Fire. With that being said, she'll also defend the Twilight Saga until the day she dies.
