There are substantial differences between the Harry Potter books and movies when it comes to certain characters and relationships. The movies certainly displayed many of them, with a much larger focus on dynamics such as the friendship trio of Harry, Ron, and Hermione and the mentor/mentee relationship between Harry and Albus Dumbledore. But, not everyone got the chance to shine in the movies, as their parts were cut short or removed entirely to make room to tell the larger overall story. Weasley siblings Bill and Charlie are barely a footnote in the movies, and even though they do not have the largest roles in the novels, they are at least more present.
